It is located in Ma Liu Shui, Sha Tin, along the\u00a0ShingMunRiver, at its mouth into Sha Tin Hoi (Tide Cove).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">The drainage services department has 120 employees on site but at the time lacked any formal measures to regulate employee times and access control. Knowing this was an issue, the department contacted ACTAtek to provide them their Time Attendance and Access Control solution.<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-weight: 400;text-align: justify\">\n<li>Multiple ACTAtek Fingerprint and Smart Card units were deployed on the sites for flexible authentication methods.<\/li>\n<li>Built in CMOS Camera provides snapshots of the user from each transaction made from the terminal.<\/li>\n<li>Integrated Access Control facilities with Time Attendance saves time and costs from additional unnecessary hardware.<\/li>\n<li>Web based embedded software in terminals allows users to quickly analyse event logs and export records when needed.<\/li>\n<li>LAN connectivity from the ACTAtek units easy connectivity allows multiple site installations with unified data synchronisation that reduces administration time and unnecessary additional costs.<\/li>\n<li>Data can then be imported into the ACTAtek TA application to generate attendance reports, payroll and wage calculations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\">Hong Kong Drainage Services Department<\/span>\u00a0have praised the ease of use and intuitive design of the hardware solution.
